Bayliss Boatworks construction update: Bayliss 72'
by John Bayliss 4 Mar 2020 14:59 UTC
With hull interior build out under way, Bayliss 72' is shaping up. Once all of her main bulkheads were glassed in, our hull carpentry crew turned their focus to building out the machine tunnel, water tank and fuel tank surround.
The water tank and fuel tank surround are now in final epoxy coat.
The engine room on Bayliss 72' just received the final layer of glass, further reinforcing the foundation for a strong and sound hull.
Battery boxes and their lids are also in the final stages of fairing. The forward and aft lower soles have been fabricated, glassed and are now in fairing. Various components will move into primer over the course of the next month, while our mechanical crew finalizes the equipment list.
