Blue View's exterior profile is coming to life, now that she's received her cabin. Prior to the installation of her super structure, Blue View got her pair of MTU 16V engines (each with 2600 horsepower) at October's start, pushing us past a big milestone in her development.
This month, we move towards securing the cabin to the hull, and glassing the cabin brow's interior.
Our electrical crew is planning their next moves for wire runs, while lower level buildout is continuing - including wall installation in the crew quarters. The salon bulkhead was installed this week, accelerating the shift of the cockpit's appearance. Priming is complete in both the anchor locker and lazarette areas, bringing us one step closer to sealing these spaces off and continuing buildout and finishwork above them.
Next, we move forward on glassing the bow deck, installing the fuel tank, and finalizing design details on the flybridge, where you can expect to see extensive refrigeration space and a teak deck - all centered around our classic center console layout.
