The Reading Rumble was held last weekend at Burghfield Sailing Club. As is often the case with a named storm we had to wait on both mornings for some wind.

When the wind came there was good racing and we managed around 40 races on both Saturday and Sunday in the HLS League before going directly to Semis and Finals.

Semis saw Imperial 2 against UCL and Portsmouth against Castaways, both semis went 2:0 to produce a final between Castaways and Imperial 2.

The final went to a deciding match which looked settled at mark 3 with Imperial holding 2,3,4 but the Castaways team of Aidan Bell Gutierrez, Sam Walker, Ariel Thomas, Esme Lynch, Beckett Marshall & Alice Smith came back to finish 1,3,5 and win the event.

UCL finished in third place.
