The multi-award-winning luxury superyacht homeport and marina village in Tivat, is delighted to round up the year with important news heading into winter. In particular, an extensive calendar of crew events has been brought to the table.
Crew Winter Calendar Unveiled
From local parties and sports competitions, to Belgrade city breaks, retreats to a free Kolasin ski chalet for crew throughout winter, and optional ski weekends at some of the most popular regional mountain resorts, the off-season calendar comes set with an unexpected tempo for yacht crew staying in the marina over the coming months. The winter programme also brings movie nights, bowling, karaoke, themed parties, and a whole host of further discounts throughout the marina and beyond, thanks to the Crew Club membership card. These activities sit alongside the Porto Montenegro Yacht Club (PMYC) RYA-certified sailing courses, Sports Club, restaurants and multiple social happenings in Porto Montenegro this winter.
New Berthing System
The winter is complemented by a host of new benefits for crew and marina-users; particularly of note is the new winter berthing programme providing a secure, naturally sheltered and well-catered environment for berth owners with Premium and Platinum berthing options for boats from 12-250m in length. This is in addition to Porto Montenegro's usual marina services of free 24-hour yacht assistance, guest concierge, and onsite repair and maintenance facilities.
The Premium package includes yacht and mooring assistance, a bay basin location, concierge services and customs clearance. The Platinum, in turn, has all of the Premium benefits, with the additional weather surveillance reports, yacht monitoring, Silver Yacht Club access, and a champagne reception.
Innovation Centre
Continuing to develop its infrastructure, Porto Montenegro introduces the new Innovation Centre, a contemporary coworking office space designed to support Montenegro's growing entrepreneurial, start-up and freelancer scene. Combining both indoor and outdoor workspaces, the facility has been created for a new generation of tech-savvy, hot-desking workers, offering daily, weekly or monthly memberships.
Air-purifying plants and generous natural lighting, create a calm, uplifting work environment that is also dog-friendly, with ergonomic desk chairs, communal work spaces and individual standing desks.
A lounge area offers comfortable seating for informal meetings while outdoor benches with sun umbrellas are ideal for working or taking calls outside. High-speed WiFi internet, complimentary water and member discounts at the adjacent Kafeterija coffee station all help maximise member productivity.
Porto Montenegro offers free desk space until the end of 2018 to one promising Montenegrin start-up with an existing proof of concept or Minimal Viable Product. A monthly calendar of educational workshops and events in Tivat and Podgorica will cover everything from coding, to business modeling and product development, offering regular insight and networking opportunities for the country's start-up community.
