North Channel Race Week 2018 will be held from Monday, July 22 to Friday, July 27.

Registration is from 7:00pm to 9:00pm, Sunday, July 21, at Hilton Beach, on St. Joseph's Island, ON.

This will be the fifth annual running of a series of five day races for a mixed keelboat fleet. Each race sails a course from one North Channel port to another where a catered dinner is served to racers and friends. Races are all from 21 to 29 nautical miles and are all sailed in daylight hours. Spinnaker and JAM (jib and mail only) fleets compete both separately and for combined honours. To date the series have attracted about 16 entries ranging from 27 to 42 feet in length.

The catered meals arranged at each port have proven extremely popular. These events provide the perfect opportunity for socializing, and greatly simplify boat provisioning for the event. The prices are determined by the caterers and serve as a revenue source for them.

Entries are accepted for the entire five-race series, or for any individual leg or legs. Details including the NOR (Notice of Race) which lists entry requirements and general event outline, the SI (Sailing Instructions) which details each race, and the Application Form, are all available on the Little Current Yacht Club website.

- Race 1: Monday, Hilton Beach to Thessalon
- Race 2: Tuesday, Thessalon to Blind River
- Race 3: Wednesday, Blind River to NCYC (Spragge)
- Race4: Thursday, NCYC to Gore Bay
- Race 5: Friday, Gore Bay to Little Current
- Optional Race: Saturday, Little Current – Course TBA

Several racers each year follow up the Race Week with a period of cruising in the fabulous North Channel of Lake Huron cruising area.
