The Event took place at Rye YC on the picturesque Mornington Peninsula,Victoria. Sailor travelled from Old, NSW, SA and Victoria to attend the Regatta over four days. Vipers, Nacra 16 and Viper Cat rigged took to the water.

Day 1 saw breezes from 8-12 kits from the south with local Father/ son Lachie and Dave Hughes showing great speed to take the first two heats out before lunch, the afternoon session in a brisk 14-19 kits saw Challands/Delaine in the pack but blistering downwind speed saw them start to exert pressure on the other crews.

Day 2 Sunny and a budding sea breeze saw four back to back races again in a building breeze that would reach 20knts during the last race.

It was a day where Challands/Delaine consolidated and posted an impressive 1,3,1,1. To tale a good pts lead, its was looking at the other podium positions were certainly the ones to fight for between Felsenthal/Connor, Hughes/Hughes. And Goodall/McEwan.

Day 3 had two races with the first in 12 knts seeing Dubbin/Campbell push for the win against the fast finishing Felsenthal/Connor - Challands/Delaine by a mere 2 seconds. The afternoon saw the leading crew again take the win with Felsenthal/Connor following.

Day 4 with the final two races with Challands/Delaine already securing the Title it was a fight for the two remaining podium spots.

Racing was in a steady 15-22 knot breeze, Challands/Delaine comfortably won both races with the minor places up for grabs some exciting sailing was on show with contenders Goodall/McEwan pushing a little to hard with an OCS/BFD. Eventually it was Felsenthall/Connor taking second place with Team Hughes third on the Podium.

The winners Jack Challands and Beau Delaine are no strangers to the F16 normally they are sailing against each other but decided to team up for this regatta together at the last minute and it payed off. Both said. "it was just one of those regattas where we worked as a team and we felt unbeatable"
