Following on from the success of last year's RYA Push the Boat Out event, Greensforge Sailing Club will again combine their annual open day on the 9th May with the RYA Push the Boat Out campaign.

The club will be open all day, there will be a chance to meet our RYA trainers and see our new GP14 training boats in action. Also our friendly members will be on hand to provide any advice. You may be a new comer to the sport or looking to get back into sailing after a break, at Greensforge you will find a friendly welcome and lots of encouragement.

Anybody wishing to try sailing or formally sign up to one of our RYA course are welcome to come to the club, one of the oldest established sailing clubs in the Midlands.

If you would like to sail as part of the Push the Boat Out event, you will need to contact us via the website or just come down on the day. You will need suitable clothing such as light trousers or shorts, a wind-proof top and warm layers. Soft soled shoes are ideal while you are moving in the boats. Greensforge can provide buoyancy aids which must be worn on the pontoon and in the boats.
