A great day for world sailing bringing so many sailors together in the memory of a great human being, Andrew Simpson.

We are a small project giving underprivileged Thai youths the opportunity to sail. This was the first proper race they had ever competed in. The atmosphere was just amazing with Thais and Europeans all watching and having a great time.

We had two 420s, two Far East 11s and four Optimists sailing. We had a beautiful day with a wind between 8 and 12 knots, a course length of 3365 metres, blue sea and a temperature of 30c.

The racing was excellent and the kids sailed so well. We were so proud of them.

Overall Results:

1, Shania, Optimist
2, Gow & Som, 420
3, Mike & Gun, 420
4, Jenni, Optimist
5, Ten, Far East 11
6, Ant, Far East 11
7, Tano, DNF
8, Ronarto, DNS

After the price giving the kids where the guests of a local restaurant.

An amazing day and here and we are doing our best to inspire the next generation.

Thank you to the Bart's Bash team for making this possible.
