Under construction: Hood 35 LM Hull #1

by Lyman-Morse 28 Dec 2020 16:56 UTC

The Hood 35 by Lyman-Morse hits the sweet spot of C.W. Hood Yacht’s powerboat acumen. Pulling in the best elements of the firm's successful mid-sized powerboats, the Hood 35 LM Express Cruiser takes the express cruiser genre to another level - perfect for day- and weekend-long jaunts.

The cold-molded hull is beautifully shaped and engineered for a smooth ride. Twin-jet propulsion easily gets you to, and the shallow draft to get you into, your favorite tucked away private coves. The Hood 35 LM is engineered and designed to handle all conditions, including when it's less than ideal on the bay, with aplomb.

Currently under construction in Thomaston, Maine, Hood 35 LM Express Cruiser hull No. 1 is scheduled for a 2021 launch.

Accommodations

Accommodations aboard the Hood 35 LM Express Cruiser are befitting a yacht of this caliber. Seating in the pilothouse is spacious, allowing for six passengers. Easy boarding is through the transom door, while the swim platform also makes enjoying a dip on a hot day easy.

Below, the beauty of a cold-molded yacht is revealed. The varnished Douglas Fir hull interior and the open layout provides a welcome retreat at the end of a great day on the water. Equipped for overnights with a centerline queen, the Hood 35 LM also offers a spacious enclosed head with shower. The comfortable galley with a front-loading fridge, sink, and single-burner cook top has everything you need for a getaway on the water.
