Bayliss Boatworks construction update: Bayliss 75'

After her flip right side up in September, the interior of Bayliss 75' was insulated, planked, and glassed inside our Hull Shop. Next, her three main bulkheads were fabricated, installed, and securely glassed into place.
With the bulkheads installed, the frame work was laid for the machinery spaces to begin taking shape. Over the course of the last month, our Hull Carpentry Crew constructed the machine tunnel, forward fuel tank surround, and strut blocking. At the month's end, the lazarette bulkhead was installed.
Inside Bayliss 75's pump room, the pump shelf is in the beginning stages of fabrication. Just forward of the pump room bulkhead, the water tank was built, installed and glassed in.
Last month, the bow thruster tube was installed, glassed, and is now in fairing. The sea chests were also fitted and glassed in within the lazarette. The engine room just received the final layer of glass, further reinforcing the foundation for a strong and sound hull.
In late October, Bayliss 75' transitioned across the street to the Construction Bay where it is now in the hands of the Exterior Carpentry Crew. This month, the crew's attention will turn to developing battery boxes and generator shelves for the pump room and engine room.
