Bayliss Boatworks construction update: Bayliss 75'

After celebrating Bayliss 75's "whiskey plank" in July, the planking screws were removed and filled with golf tees, then cut and sanded smooth. After prepping the hull, glassing began.
The Hull Carpentry Crew began by fitting, installing, and glassing the spray rail, closely followed by bottom glassing and the installation of lifting strakes. These components were glassed onto the hull before the hull's bottom was thoroughly sanded and coated in ad-tech.
With the bottom of the hull prepped for fairing and primer, the Hull Carpentry Crew turned their attention to the hull sides. The teak sheer guard and lower guards were installed in late August and the hull sides were sanded in preparation for glassing. Fabrication of the engine room vents is nearly complete, and once these are installed, glassing on the hull sides can begin.
Next to the hull, the cabin and flybridge progressed from glass to epoxy to fairing to primer over the course of the last month. The crew was able to fabricate and install the console's dash before the cabin was moved outdoors in late August. The cabin was blocked outside, where it will remain to cure the black mask until it is time to mount the cabin to the hull.
