Bayliss Boatworks construction update: Bayliss 75'
by Bayliss Boatworks 12 Jul 2020 17:54 UTC
Bayliss 75' is continuing to take shape in our hull shop. Once the hull jig was assembled, our crews wasted no time, beginning the steady process of shaping and laminating the bow stem.
It was completed mounted seamlessly to the jig in mid-June, after which our crew installed and shaped the engine stringers and sheer.
The tunnels were fabricated and installed on the hull in late June, after which our crews were able to begin fitting the first of three layers of hull planking!
In June, the flybridge for Bayliss 75' was glassed and faired, in both the exterior and interior spaces. At the month's end, the flybridge was lifted onto the cabin where it is now being glassed into place. Soon, the flybridge and cabin will receive their first rounds of primer.
