We are excited to announce that Salty Tiger (Bayliss 62') will be delivered to her owners later this month!
While it's her custom transom artwork that has garnered the most attention, she also features a teak cockpit deck and coverboards, constructed from hand-selected teak boards. To reduce brightwork maintenance, she received faux teak application on her toe rail, half round, helm pod, and salon door. Her exterior is completed with a black mask and a carbon-fiber Palm Beach Towers hardtop.
The interior of Salty Tiger is clean and modern. Upon entering the salon, cork flooring offers a durable alternative to teak planking and this carries into the galley and both heads. In the salon, a custom L-shaped sofa and sofa table on the port side sit alongside a smaller starboard sofa. A 49" television is mounted on the forward starboard galley bulkhead. "Vicostone White Fusion" quartz countertops installed throughout the upper and lower levels compliment the bold teak veneers in the surrounding cabinetry.
The lower level is organized for maximum accommodation and storage. The three stateroom, two head layout provides five bunks for guests and includes a tackle room with custom rod storage and a concealed washer/dryer. All staterooms are appointed with custom teak veneered hanging lockers, nightstands and ample cabinetry above and below the bunks.
Salty Tiger's flybridge is a custom Bayliss Boatworks port peninsula layout with a three-sided enclosure. Tackle and gear accommodation are plentiful on the flybridge, within both the forward and starboard bench seats.
The electrical and mechanical layouts for wiring and plumbing are efficiently run to Bayliss Boatworks specifications for ease of maintenance or future additions. Another new feature installed in each of our builds to reduce our impact on the environment- a chilled, filtered water dispenser conveniently located within the mezzanine.
Salty Tiger's top speed at delivery was documented at 47.5 knots and her cruise at 2150 is 41.5 knots (at 80% load). This summer, you can find her fishing in the Canyons off the Mid-Atlantic.
