Bayliss Boatworks construction update: Old Reliable - Bayliss 72'
by John Bayliss 8 Jun 2020 10:17 UTC
Old Reliable certainly looks different this month. The forward area has taken shape - interior walls are up! With walls in place, we are seeing our first live glimpse of the lower-level layout, which will be comprised of four staterooms and three heads.
Once the engine room and pump room transitioned into final exterior-quality paint, we were able to install her CAT C32A engines, Northern Lights generators, forward Seakeeper 9, and salon deck. This was an action-packed day of installations!
Carling construction is now under way, after which our crew will be pushed towards bow deck installation, along with the anchor locker bulkhead. In the next couple of months, we will install the aft fuel tank and cabin, as we continue work on the bow deck and lower level stateroom layout.
