Bayliss Boatworks construction update: Salty Tiger - Bayliss 62'

In early April, Salty Tiger's transom artwork was encased in layer upon layer of clear coat. On the interior, cabinetry installations have quickly progressed.
Nearly all galley cabinetry, as well as the galley television mount on the starboard side, is in place. While her teak veneers within the galley are all wrapped up now for protection during her cork flooring install, it will feel like Christmas when we take the coverings off later this month.
The next interior benchmark on Salty Tiger's checklist will be countertop installations. Our interior carpentry department is creating patterns for granite installations on all surfaces and fabrication will soon be under way.
Within the lower level, our crew will continue to finish out the staterooms with buildout on the master headboard and close out beneath each bunk. In each of the staterooms, bunk rails have been installed and will soon be treated with protective varnish.
With bunks and bunk rails installed in each stateroom, our crew have begun taking measurements for mattress patterns. Soon, they will begin closing out hanging lockers and installing cabinetry within the tackle room. Teak door frames have been fabricated in the cabinetry shop and are nearly ready to go in the boat.
Within the engine room companionway, the icemaker and watermaker have been installed. The mechanical department is currently finalizing the assembly of the freshwater components.
On the exterior, tackle center and door installations are under way within the cockpit. The exterior carpentry crew has also installed rod storage beneath the flybridge bench seats. Salty Tiger's rub rail was fabricated and installed by our metalworks department. Next up, salon window tinting!
