by John Bayliss 5 Nov 2019 14:18 UTC
On Bayliss 62', the cockpit and flybridge have undergone rapid transformations over the course of the last month. The flybridge is now in full primer after undergoing rounds of glassing and fairing.
The black mask outline was applied in late October and the crew is now turning their attention to the preliminary half round layout, which will be installed later this month.
In October, Bayliss 62' received her twin MTU 12V M96L 1920hp engines. With the engines installed, work progressed on the cockpit deck.
In the cockpit, the deck was framed, laid, and glassed over the course of October. Lower mezzanine build-out is now in progress and it won't be long before the cockpit teak deck planking begins.
