With her finish line a mere eight months away, Blue View (Bayliss 78') was moved to our "make-ready" bay in mid July. She is now in final primer, and her teak work is undergoing final clear coats.
With her mezzanine teak work complete, our exterior carpentry crew is now attaching and gas-shocking all mezzanine lids. The bridge console electronics arrangements are being finalized and the dash panel will be cut by our CNC department.
On the interior, upper dinette cabinetry is in the works, along with everything from teak bed frames to hanging lockers. Blue View's bridge and salon electrical panels are under development in our metal works department. The electrical crew is currently running wire pulls but will turn their focus to panel assembly soon.
Blue View will move into the paint bay later this month for full paint. This is always an exciting benchmark and we will unveil her new appearance in our September Bulletin!
