Tarheel (Bayliss 62') is now in the home stretch. She received her final paint at the end of April and is currently undergoing touch-ups and clear coats to her faux teak toe rail and drip-molding.

While the interior carpentry crew continues to work on lower and upper level installs, our metal works department is creating a brand new custom TV lift for the salon. With the majority of the galley cabinetry in place, construction of the salon valances are now under way. It won't be long before granite counters and shower doors are installed.

Over the course of the next few weeks, electronics will be installed within Tarheel's flybridge console. Our electrical department is currently completing the shore power installations and finalizing the bridge panel.

Our mechanical department is completing the installation of pump room components and toilets in each of the heads. Next up, they will set the salon air handlers and install the sea chest.

The paint crew is preparing for hull clear coat application within the week and it won't be long before she'll receive transom paint and her Palm Beach Towers hardtop, completing her exterior appearance.

We plan to hit the water for a sea trial before the month is over!
