GOST® (Global Ocean Security Technologies), a world leader in marine security, tracking, monitoring and video surveillance systems, announced today that its Apparition GOST Watch HD XVR and Nav-Tracker are providing security, surveillance and tracking capabilities on the newly launched HCB Center Console Yachts™ flagship Estrella.
The Apparition XVR was recently awarded the 2018 Product of Excellence in the category of Vessel Monitoring Systems at the National Marine Electronics Association (NMEA) Conference and Expo in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
The 65-foot Estrella is now the world's largest center console yacht. The Estrella made its public debut at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show in October 2018. HCB Center Console Yachts creates custom, offshore center console yachts for the discerning custom buyer, with models ranging from 39 to 65 feet.

A cutting-edge touchscreen marine security monitoring and tracking system, the Apparition elevates GOST's award-winning product line to the next level. Designed with large yachts in mind, it is the most customizable and powerful GOST security system ever released, controlled via interactive touchscreen keypads installed throughout a vessel. With GOST's wide array of sensors such as high-water, low-voltage, smoke and heat detectors, as well as a full suite of intrusion detection sensors, the system is truly customizable to meet every vessel's layout and every customer's priority.
To keep track of the location of the vessel at all times, the owners selected the GOST Nav-Tracker. The unit is a global Inmarsat satellite-based tracking device that offers reliable, remote vessel tracking and management from anywhere in the world. Designed specifically for tracking a stolen vessel, the Nav-Tracker also allows family and friends to provide support if the boat is in peril or notify maritime authorities if there is a deviation from the float plan.
The surveillance system records video files on the GOST Watch HD XVR system at the highest resolution produced. Connected directly, the GOST Watch HD XVR collects video without using the bandwidth from onboard cellular or satellite-based Internet connections. It is capable of saving up to 3 months of the highest resolution footage with its four-terabyte hard drive. Footage can be accessed locally on board the boat for viewing and downloading to a computer or USB thumb drive, or remotely via the GOST Watch HD XVR app or website.
