Chaparral – Secret World release at SIBS

by Dani Limback on 30 Jul 2013
19SF Run 03 13 Chaparral Australia
Chaparral Australia is planning a secret release of a brand new model at the Sydney International Boat Show in August.

The world release will be the second time Chaparral have launched a new model outside of the U.S in its 49 year history. The first time was also in Sydney in 2011 with the spectacular launch of the 225 Sport Cabin to media and public acclaim.

Whilst the details of the new boat are being carefully held, our spies believe it may be a new model in the popular H2o entry level range which has been a best seller both here in Australia and the U.S. since its release 18 months ago.

Comprising the 18 and 19 Sport and Ski/Fish bow rider models, the H2os introduced in 2012 was the first time Chaparral have competed in the competitive entry level market. Designed to capture first boat buyers and offer an opportunity to own Chaparral quality from day one in their boating careers, H2o has been a phenomenon in Australia.

We believe that the secret boat will be a bigger family model also with Sport and Ski/Fish layouts on offer.
Scott O’Hare from Chaparral Australia said 'Of course I cannot give you any details, it’s a secret! But, I will say that we are honoured to have been chosen for this world release and can tell you that it is a brand new boat from the hull up. In usual Chaparral style, it is packed full of innovative features, performs beautifully in rough water and is built salt water tough' he said.

'We know that the family buyers will love the boat and love the price as well!'

Chaparral has a solid reputation worldwide for quality, innovation and performance; they have over 30 sports boat models in the range from 18 to 42 feet and offer a complete dealer network across Australia. Blakes Marine in Windsor are the N.S.W dealer representing Chaparral at the show.

For more information on the Chaparral range go to www.chaparralaustralia.com.au or contact Chaparral Australia on Tel: (03) 9397 6977.
