Boat Show action aplenty on the SuperStage

The 2013 BIA Melbourne Boat Show will have a non-stop feast of entertainment, education and prizes on the TrailerBoat SuperStage from 14 to 17 June at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre.

As the countdown to the show enters its final fortnight, TrailerBoat editor Angelo SanGiorgio and his team are lining up all the big names for the SuperStage.

Angelo will be joined by veteran boat tester John 'The Bear' Willis to host the SuperStage activity, with experts aplenty lined up to do their bit.

Adventure Bound’s Lee Rayner and squid king extraordinaire Paul Carter will be there, along with world wakeboard champion Andrew Adkison.

Anyone planning to buy a boat should have a listen to Darren Finkelstein, author of the popular new book, 'Honey, Let’s buy a BOAT!'

For all the best advice on marine electronics, the TrailerBoat team has brought together experts from Lowrance, Raymarine and Garmin for an impartial account of all the latest developments.

There’ll be lots of colour and movement on the SuperStage, with prizes and give-aways every hour on the hour, and a focus on serious, impartial advice that boaties can really trust.

For parents with youngsters in tow, it’s much the same story at Flathead Fred’s Fun Fishin’ Show for Kids, where Fred delivers his own prizes and his unique, high-energy performance.

As always, Fred encourages youngsters to be good little citizens, not just when fishing but in everything they do – and makes it great fun into the bargain.

Add in the boat show’s unique true-to-life navigation simulators, which replicate both small boats and giant ships, and the action at the show covers every age and interest.

The 53rd Annual BIA Melbourne Boat Show runs from Friday 14 June to Monday 17 June at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre. It is open from 10am each day, until 9pm on Friday, 8pm on Saturday and 7pm on Sunday and Monday.
